Paradox is a proven hardwired system that's been trusted in New Zealand for 30+ years — it's a great option when budget is the priority without sacrificing reliability.
You can absolutely self-monitor — both Ajax and Paradox send instant alerts directly to your phone when the alarm triggers. If you'd prefer a 24/7 monitoring centre to respond on your behalf, we can connect your system to a reputable NZ monitoring provider. This is entirely optional — we don't lock you into contracts.
Yes — and the approach depends on what alarm system you have. If you're running Ajax, we can add Ajax cameras that integrate directly, giving you one app for both. If you have a Paradox or other alarm, we can install TP-Link VIGI as a standalone CCTV system alongside it. We also service and expand existing Dahua and Hikvision setups.
Most residential installations are completed in a single day. A basic alarm or CCTV system typically takes 2–4 hours; a combined alarm and camera installation usually takes a full day. We work cleanly and tidily, and we won't leave until everything is set up, tested and you know exactly how to use it.
Most homes are — Ajax is designed to work across a wide range of property types and sizes, including older homes without existing cable infrastructure. For very large properties or homes with thick concrete walls, we may recommend a combination approach or additional signal repeaters.
